IGNITE (Increase Graduation, Not Incarceration, Transform Education) was originally focused solely on tackling the school-to-prison pipeline, but this year, we have expanded it by running the Diversify the UC Campaign.
We are working on diversifying UC campus resources, addressing anti-blackness/Islamophobia, outreaching to local schools in partnership with SIRRC, working with local police departments with EVPLA on community relations, and so on and so forth.
Our meetings are Thursdays at 5, although that may change once we recruit our officers because I understand most have class at that time.
It is a rolling application so I will accept folks as they apply, but THE SOONER THE BETTER!

LinkedIn: We have a new Snap Chat account: Associated Students UCSB (as_ucsb). The Creative Media Unit will be responsible for feeding it. Geofilters are being created for each AS building (main, annex, Pardall, etc).
Google+: GauchoBooks has created a platform that UCSB students can exclusively access and use to post their textbooks’ information for exchange with other students. We do not seek profit nor do we process transactions – we simply connect student buyers and sellers through their U-mail account.
