Office of the Attorney General

The Attorney General serves as the Chief Legal Counsel within Associated Students. They will maintain a strong knowledge of the ASUCSB Legal Code, working closely with governmental entities to prevent violations of the Legal Code. The Attorney General will give advice and answer questions upon request by the Executive Officers and Senators. Their office is empowered to investigate and prosecute any potential violations of the Legal Code, as well as advise those individuals who wish to bring a case themselves. The ultimate goal of the Office of the Attorney General is to ensure that the association remains accountable to the student body by abiding by the AS Constitution and all of its subsidiary documents.
