Isla Vista Community Relations Committee – IVCRC
Elections for IVCRC’s External and Internal Chair will happen at our next meeting on May 22nd! Our meeting will begin at 6:30 pm, but speeches and elections will not begin until 7 pm!

Only current members of IVCRC and general members that have gone to at least 3 meetings can vote for chairs! But everyone is welcome to attend.

Don’t forget to apply for positions online for IVCRC 2017-2018 by MAY 29th, 11:59 PM. Please feel free to message us if you have any questions!

The Second Annual Isla Vista Conference: The Beloved Community
Learning Through Community Engagement
May 19-20, 2017

Join us for a one and a half day conference where we will work toward our collective understanding of Isla Vista and commitment to our beloved community, by bringing participants together to share our unique perspectives, celebrate the things that make Isla Vista great, and build a shared vision of the future.

The conference will cover a range of topics that matter to the Isla Vista community. It will begin with an opening art exhibit and reception on Friday and continue on Saturday with a variety of sessions that touch on one major theme: learning through community engagement. We will explore this theme through the lenses of equity, inclusion and activism.
Free and open to everyone
Free breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday
