Happy Marine Monday! Today we will be discussing the Caspian seal! The Caspian seal is found only in the Caspian Sea and they are the smallest pinnipeds in the seal family. Caspian seal pups have a white fur coat called lanugo, as seen in the photo above! The Caspian Seal is also endangered as of 2008, sadly.

AS has a Marketplace https://shop.as.ucsb.eduwhere you can purchase readers, masks, and super cute stickers! More items will be added in the future.

“One cannot construct long term projects or proceed with ideas that promote “diversity, equity, and inclusion” without responding and accounting for people with disabilities’ perspectives, experiences, and difficulties. Unfortunately, these perspectives are often neglected, directly or indirectly, in an ableist society.”(Source: https://abolitionanddisabilityjustice.com/opening/)
