UCSB Zero Waste Committee
Hey everyone! While we can’t all be on campus to come together and celebrate Earth Day this month in person, we can still come together and do some good for the planet in other ways. Zero Waste Committee invites you to join us in participating in the Earth Day EcoChallenge. It’s a month-long environmental and social engagement program. You join a team and select environmentally conscious actions that align with your individual values and make a month-long commitment to complete those chosen actions which helps you practice and reinforce good habits. As you complete actions, your team collectively earns points (for some friendly competition) and your impact will contribute to the overall impact of everyone participating! All of your actions help you to build habits that ultimately ensure a better future for everyone. We know adjusting to online classes can be new and difficult, so we’re giving away an iPad to one lucky UCSB Student to stay organized! Here’s how to enter:
