Fall 2020 Week 7

A key tool to fight COVID-19 is right in your hands! 📱 The UC Santa Barbara community is invited to participate in the State of California’s pilot of CA COVID Notify, a new program that uses the exposure notification system from @Google and @Apple to quickly alert you if you’ve likely been exposed to COVID-19, allowing you to seek medical attention and reduce risk for your friends, family and other Gauchos. The more people participate in the program, the more effective it will be at identifying potential exposures and reducing the spread of COVID-19: https://canotify.uchealth.edu/ucsb/ #CANotify
The UC Santa Barbara community already has a tool to help protect one another from COVID-19: our smartphones. 📱 Our campus is joining a pilot of California COVID Notify, an exposure notification program that uses smartphone technology from @Google and @Apple to notify you if you’ve likely been exposed to COVID-19. Help keep Gauchos safe by adding California COVID Notify to your phone today: https://canotify.uchealth.edu/ucsb/ #CANotify
