Student Advocate General
While I am running unopposed, I would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know how much I look forward to serving UCSB students for another year. The Student Advocate General has two equally important duties. The first is to oversee and guide the operations of the Office of the Student Advocate (OSA). The OSA is a student organization that provides free and confidential assistance to students involved in any dispute with the university. The second duty is to act as an advocate for students' rights and a watchdog for any violations of these rights. If anyone feels they have been wrongly treated, their rights violated, or have found themselves in the unfortunate position of facing university sanctions for any type of misconduct, please feel free to contact me at mregus@gmail.com or call me at 805-893-2566.
