Marisela Marquez - AS Executive Director
Responsible for all fiscal management, staff personnel and legal matters of a complex student government organization with an annual budget of over $9 million and comprising elected student executive officers and legislative council, appointed student boards and committees, advisory and administrative staff, business enterprises, and student services. Oversees the enforcement of all Associated Students policies and procedures. Oversees election of and serves as principal advisor to elected student Executive Officers and Legislative Council; advises student boards and committees such as A.S. Judicial Council. Serves as advocate of Associated Students interests and concerns.

Cindy Lopez - Associate Director of Administration
Under general direction of the Associated Students Executive Director, develops and implements administrative policies and directs daily financial aspects of Associated Students, including supervision of staff and activities of A.S. Administration Office. Oversees all A.S. Business Services and Enterprises. Responsible for long range planning, analysis, organization, purchasing, expenditure control, space utilization and equipment security. Responsible for the research, development, and formation of budgets and administration of any new student services. Responsible for A.S. financial management, including A.S. Capital Reserves of over 1.5 million dollars. Directs managers of A.S. enterprises in expected cash handling and accounting procedures, and in following University and Associated Students Policies and Procedures. On a daily basis, troubleshoots issues related to the daily business operations of the department, using independent judgment and decision-making authority to resolve situations as they arise.

Elizabeth Robinson - Associate Director for Media Services
The Associate Director for Media Services is responsible for supervising and managing all aspects of station broadcast operations. The Director provides continuity and constituency to a 24-hour experiential learning environment. KCSB-FM, a Class B station, operating at 91.9mHz, with 620 watts broadcast at approximately 4,000 feet, serves a tri-county coastal audience, with public service programming. KJUC-AM is a closed carrier current station programming to the on-campus residence halls. KJUC serves as the initial training ground for students and community members. Both KCSB and KJUC are largely managed and operated by between 220-260 student and volunteer staff.

{Position Empty} - Associate Director for Community Affairs
The Associate Director for Community Affairs is responsible for organizational management, leadership development, the Community Affairs Board, Academic Affairs Board, Commission on Disability Access (CODA), Americorps and Service Learning. Primary focus is on the ASUCSB Community Affairs Board (CAB) to ensure program continuity, community networking, campus collaborations, student development, project design, and training initiatives. CAB is an official board of the Associated Students serving as UCSB's Volunteer Action/Service Learning Center dedicated to providing students access to community service work and promoting the ethics of public service. The Associate Director for Community Affairs ensures University and Associated Students policies and procedures are followed in all student programs, activities, and events. Serves as the campus contact person for California Campus Compact, a nonprofit organization dedicated to community service leadership for institutions of higher education in which the Chancellor maintains membership. A.S. contact person for Americorp and Service Learning.

Denise Rinaldi - Assistant to the Executive Director
Works closely with the Director on current issues and a wide variety of department wide special projects. Primary department liaison for Human Resources. Provides information and consultation for department supervisors. Analyzes job descriptions and department organization, recommends changes as needed. Writes staff and student job descriptions. Provides administrative support for the Associated Students Executive Director. Maintains confidential personnel files, prepares memos, correspondence, calendars and confidential documents regarding student enrollment and GPA. Maintains and updates A.S. Legal Code. Represents the Executive Director on key Campus Advisory committees. Serves as informational resource to Legislative Council as well as to other students and staff on the Associated Students Legal Code and Financial Policies. Supervises CNT II.

Claudia Alphin - Financial Officer
Provides professional support to the Associate Director for Administration in administrative, financial and personnel functions. Administers annual A.S. audit and production of year-end financial statements, annual inventory of fixed assets, computation of depreciation, revenue and expenditures tests and chart of accounts. Primary liaison with outside auditor in compilation and completion of financial statements. Serves as primary payroll reviewer for career staff of Associated Students, including: reviews employee timesheets, compiles work-study payrolls, reconciles Associated Students payroll reports, and provides payroll documentation for yearly audit. Compiles internal payroll reports, calculates payroll account balances and payroll projections for all units of Associated Students. Oversees key areas of Human Resource management including Associated Student's employee orientation, benefits. Trains and supervises the Accounting Office Coordinator and the A.S. Accountant.

Andrew Doerr - Publications Coordinator
Under the general direction of the Business Services Manager, the A.S. Publications Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of Notetaking services for A.S. Publications. Responsible for marketing, public relations, grants and a wide variety of special projects involving written communication.

JudyAnn Dutcher - Web Developer
Under the direction of the A.S. Executive Director, and in coordination with a team of staff members designs, implements and maintains Associated Student's web-site. Works with a team of staff and students to coordinate web site planning, create graphics, create dynamic elements etc. designed to accommodate the interests of student needs and highlight the varied programs of Associated Students. Works directly with users to determine needs and implement web strategies and goals of student groups. Coordinates with department directors to develop informational goals and design various pages to meet each areas needs.

Aaron Jones - Student Government Advisor
Serves as Advisor for 4-6 Associated Students Boards, Committees, and Commissions whose chief focus is student government. Primary focus is to ensure networking, campus collaborations, student development, project design, and training initiatives. The Advisor meets with the Commissioners and Chairs on a regular basis to discuss event/program production, coordination, evaluation, negotiations, contracts, technical requirements, and other appropriate resources. He/she informs the Chairs and Commissioners of A.S. and University policies and procedures, assists with the A. S. budgetary process and provides suggestions on logistical planning. Coordinates all functions in the Associated Students Main Office. Trains and supervises the daily activities of 6-8 student secretaries in reception and clerical duties, and preparation and distribution of agendas and minutes for weekly A.S. Legislative Council and Finance Board meetings. Serves as informational resource to Legislative Council as well as to other students and staff on the Legal Code, Associated Students Financial Policies, campus and office procedures, and A.S. activities.

Brian O'Donnell - A.R./A.P. Coordinator
Administers accounts for all A.S. funded organizations. Performs accounting functions for Associated Students administrative accounts, boards, and committees. Advises Finance Board on providing student boards and committees workshops and training in A.S. financial procedures. Serves as primary preparer of PPS data for career and student staff of Associated Students. Conducts workshops to inform employees (new and returning student staff as well as career employees) about University policies related to their employment.

Mike Rogers - Ticket Office/Cashiers Manager
Manages full-service Centralized Cashiering Office, the Associated Student Bike Shop and the A.S. Publications Service. The Student Services Manager is responsible for organization, personnel administration, purchasing, expenditure control, space utilization and equipment security, budget and daily operations. In consultation with the Associate Director for Administration is responsible for developing innovative solutions to a wide range of business problems. S/he works independently in exercising discretionary powers to solve managerial problems and for directing the work of others, training, defining positions and determining methods. Responsible for recruitment, selection, training and supervision of career staff as well as Bike Shop student mechanics, cashiers, ticket sellers, Publications staff and Special Projects Coordinators. Develops and maintains adequate cash security measures in accordance with A.S. and University internal control standards. Audits daily records of receipts, tracks change funds and daily sales summaries. Oversees Bike Shop sales, Notetaking sales and inventories, ticket inventory, sales, and settlement. Develops statistical reports concerning receipts, deposits.

David Salmon - Bike Shop Service Coordinator
Under the general supervision of the A.S. Business Services Manager , the ASBS Service Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and repair aspects of the A.S. Bike Shop. He /she will oversee the training program for student employees in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of bicycle types and other rolling stock. Responsible for safety standards in all repair procedures. The ASBS Service Coordinator will endeavor to maintain the A.S. Bike Shop in accordance to its mission statement to provide high quality bicycle repair and safety education to the students, faculty, and staff of UCSB.

Coordinates local news reporting at the station, including recruitment, training, editorial work, and reporting. Also raises funds through grant writing.

Tyler Tomblin - Art Director
Designs and produces a wide variety of publications for organizations throughout Associated Students including design and layout of introduction and filler pages for A.S. Map and A.S. Directory. Designs art and copy layout for the A.S. annual report and any A.S. brochures. Advises, creates and executes or assists students to execute, publications such as Herstory and other student produced publications when needed. Consults with the department CNT on the design of A.S. web pages. Provides administrative support to the Associate Director for Student Programs.

Robin is an attorney at the AS Legal Resource Center. The office provides legal consultation, coaching, and workshops for all undergrads and grad students at UCSB.

Kathleen Versola - A. S. Publications Assistant Manager
Under the direction of the A.S. Business Service Manager, the Publications Assistant Coordinator provides a wide variety of technical and administrative support. Coordinates with professors and administers the process by which classroom readers are recruited, prepared, and reproduced. Coordinates with the manager in setting deadlines for the delivery of reprographic projects including the daily production of A.S. Lecture Notes. Supervises student copy operators in the completion of all ASNS/PS reprographic projects.

Judy Woodward - Accounting Office Coordinator
Office Coordinator for Associated Students Administration and Accounting Offices. Serves as administrator of computerized fund accounting system (WOS) including maintenance and regular balancing of accounts. Manages day-to-day accounting functions of Associated Students, including processing of all checks, purchase orders, account adjustments. Plans and distributes workflow in office. Supervises 6-8 student staff in computer entry, reception and general clerical duties. Oversees mail distribution.
