Important Information:

The Chancellor's Coordinating Committee on Budget Strategy is working on a proposal to raise the university fee on student fees at the time each lock-in fee is re-affirmed (voted on to continue the fee). This sounds like they are trying to give students a voice, but instead they are completely taking away our choice.

In this situation, the Administration is limiting students to two (2) choices:

Re-affirm the lock-in fee and automatically be
charged an increased administrative
fee, which will greatly reduce the funding
available for that service.
Vote down the lock-in fee; avoiding the increased
administrative fee, but most likely eliminating the
student service!

Neither of these options are good ones, so A.S. is still working to make sure student services are protected and You can help.
