-KCSB began broadcasting as an FM station with 2 watts in November 1964, which afterwards increased to 10 watts.

-KCSB changed its frequency from 91.5 MHz to 91.9 MHz in 1976 to avoid interference with KUSC in Los Angeles.

-KCSB increased its effective radiated power from 185 watts to the current 620 watts in September 1983.

-KJUC, KCSB's AM sister training station, began in 1988.
