♦ Last weeks mission statement…question on exclusivity
of a special testing center…

We need a default place for central
testing. The group is pretty unanimous
about this. The logistics of finding a
testing place is unreasonable and arduous, Some TA’s have difficulty
accommodating, some professors have difficulties accommodating.

Social at Scott’s house Friday the 5th. Pizza, bring a few bucks to help out. BROB.
Invite friends!
o
“Sue Thomas – F.B.Eye” on PAX new television
show depicting the life of a deaf FBI agent. Check it out.
♦ Finances
o
Scott filed an incorrect form last
year. So…we may have problems getting general funding but we will not have any
trouble getting event funding.
o
Speakers
§ What about having a speaker series during our
disability awareness week.
· Possibilities-Hugh marsh, Larry Littleton, Henry
Reed, George Singer, Jean
o
Ed – promote the series to have buy-in
for the majority/not just persons with disabilities…something about overcoming
life obstacles, success in the face of difficulties, motivation, etc. etc.
o
Ali – Lets start thinking about
Disability Awareness Week. We don’t
want to do this during a time when another group is doing a week long event.

Adaptive programs disability awareness
presentation.

o
At the end of winter or the beginning
of spring. Mid to late spring has not
been so great.
