Overview of discussion (not necessarily in order of occurrence)
1) Welcome
and approval of the previous meeting minutes 2 -2:05
2) a moment of
reflection…a reading of the CODA mission…a review of our goals 2:05 -
2:10/15
3) Proposal
to rotate meeting facilitators. Discussion.
Signups? 2:15 – 2:25
a. EMAIL: What about having a
different facilitator for each CODA meeting? Rotate weekly between the
willing CODA officers? Mix it up a bit. Share the governance.
Create community. What do you
think? Whoever was facilitating that week would not be solely responsible
for doing the agenda but would work with either Scott or Chris to develop it.

Reserve, discuss coming up on the 4th
o THEY
DO NOT HAVE A STRUCTURED TOUR. THEY
WANT TO CUSTOMIZE IT. They usally don’t
do this on Sunday buut Michael would like to do a tour personally. The dare is tentative. It may be booked on that day. We will need
to address transportation issues. The
3rd would also work.

o Janet would like to come on the 21st. She will need media technology.

about the lock-in fee? Scott to follow
up. Ali to ask Pam. How much do we want
to ask for? Scott says less than a dime
per quarter. Ann (our leg rep) will ask
leg tonight to find out the details.

promotional materials for DAW.

5) Radio
Productions Update - West 2:25 - 2:35
a. Is
there anyone here that would like to take over the radio productions management
position? Sam is interested but doesn’t
want to abandon the public relations position. PAUSE Wes has taken the position and
will be asking everyone to participate.
He will be delegating. Rotating
through on a weekly basis. We need to
submit a sample. Ali and Sam will have
to be at the next meeting to do a sample show.
The meeting is this Monday 4:30pm – 5:30pm at the CODA office.
6) Disability
Awareness Week (DAW) update Ali 2:35 - 2:45
a. We
need resources to be able to hand out.
Sam turned in something he found on line. Great! This is what we
need. Send ideas and resources to
Ali.
7) BREAK! For open
forum 2:45 - …
a. COME to the ADA meeting this Wednesday at 10:00am. Thanks Jim for doing research to help with our proposals. Ali is going to try to find the current lock in fee, look at the wording of the article, and request a budget on how the money is being spent. The story in the past has been that theses monies are going toward notetakers. We would like to suggest that they use it for extra-curricular service.
