IVYP can always use volunteers, including throughout the summer. UCSB students are needed to work in the Children’s Center, summer camps, and the after-school program. SB Community Kitchen @ St. Mark’s Catholic Church

Isla Vista Teen Center
Contact: (805) 685-9170Located at 889 Camino Del Sur, the goal of this organization is to provide bilingual/bicultural after-school programs, primarily focused on the enhancement of academic achievement but also provides a place for local youth to hang out. Volunteers are needed for after-school tutoring, basic computer skills training, mediation skills training (City @ Peace), and drug and alcohol prevention education.
Friendship Manor

Volunteers are needed for trips to the symphony, ice cream socials, and good conversation with the elderly.
