October Volunteer of the Month

Dana does everything animals and so much more for CAB. She was the animal coordinator last year managing BUNS, ASAP, and DAWG. She also worked with St. Marks and Casa Esperanza on homeless campaigns. Besides doing all this awesome volunteer work she is just an all around awesome girl.
 

Kyria Edwards

November Volunteer of the Month

Kyria is a first year student living at Santa Catalina. Even with only 3 months at UCSB, she has done so much to help the community. In addition to being a dedicated CAB member, she has a role as the Hunger/Homeless Coordinator. Every Wednesday morning, she prepares breakfast for the homeless, not just bagels and fruits, but like pancakes, cobblers, and breakfast burritos! She sometimes wakes up at 6 am just to cook the meal. It doesn't stop here! She prepared 100 thanksgiving baskets for the Isla Vista families. Because of her dedication, each family who requested a basket at Isla Vista elementary, received one. This was the first year this was able happened. She is pretty much an amazing person. Congratulations Kyria, you deserve it!
