Notetaking Services

The Associated Students Publications Service has provided high quality lecture notes to students, faculty, and staff at UCSB for over 25 years. Our service is committed to providing quality notes for as wide a range of classes as possible. A.S. Lecture Notes can be especially useful as a teaching tool in large introductory courses. They can benefit student subscribers in a number of important ways:

• Good notetaking is fundamental to success here at UCSB. A.S. Notes provide a model for incoming freshmen or other new students. In addition, A.S. Notes include clear copies of diagrams, formulas, and other illustrations presented in class.
• The bottom line is: having A.S. notes available helps the students in the long run!
• A.S. Notes are a resource for learning independently that, in combination with your assigned texts, the internet, and any other available media, augment the material you present in class. Taken together, these resources present your students with a range of tools for learning.
  

All A.S. notetakers are either graduate students or the professors teaching the courses.
