General Information on the A.S. Notetaking Service
Hours of Operation
The A.S. Notetaking Service is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
For your convenience, the ASNS/ASPS accepts Mastercard, Visa, and Access cards for any purchase. Of course checks and cash are also welcome.
Prices
You may receive lecture notes by two methods. You may either purchase a subscription for the entire quarter for $24.00. Or, if you not wish to purchase a subscription for the entire quarter, you may purchase notes individually. Individual lectures notes cost $1.50 each for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday classes and $2.00 each for classes that meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Past Lecture Notes
When purchasing a subscription, you will receive a subscription card and all of the back notes from lectures given prior to the day of purchase. You may use your card to pick up notes from subsequent lectures as they are printed. Usually the day after the lecture is presented.
Courses Carried
As a professional courtesy, the ASNS requests permission from instructors to carry their class(es) on our class list. If a professor denies our services, we will not carry that course for that quarter. The ASNS generally targets only large undergraduate courses that have at least 80 students or more enrolled.
